He has extensive experience practicing as a surgical oncologist and breast surgeon in Bogotá, as was the case at the Social Security Institute and the National Cancer Institute, where he is currently Head of the Surgical Oncology Group. Dr. Carlos A. Duarte has participated and collaborated in research, seminars, and conferences both within and outside the country.
